6 month appointment

Alicia went to go see Dr. Joe today. She was a very good patient, and only cried a little when she got her two shots. He said that she looks great!! She is getting long, over 26 inches...that puts her in the 70th percentile for height. She hasn't gained much weight...she is at 15 lbs and 4 oz, she was at 14 lbs 3oz at four months, so she has really only gained a pound and this puts her in the 40th percentile for weight. So she's our little skinny minny. She's doing pretty good, the doctor reinforced that I need to be putting her to bed and letting her fall asleep on her own, so I'm listening to her scream from her crib right now.

6 Months Old!!!

Well, Alicia is six months old today, and starting to act all grown up!!
She gets herself up on all fours now and rocks, but hasn't quite taken off yet. She has been pretty terrible lately...I suspect teething, but it has made very long nights and pretty cranky days for about a week now. She goes in for shots tomorrow, so that should only make things worse. Alex and I had a big date night this past weekend for an early father's day celebration, and left Alicia with her grandparents. We had a lot of fun together and I think that they did too. There hasn't been too much to say, we've been enjoying our new church and getting to know some people there. Alex has been really busy with work. I've been doing little projects around the house and misc things for the wedding and Alicia has been growing and changing all the while. Things have changed a lot in the last year...especially the last six months, but we wouldn't trade a minute...or not many minutes :) Alicia wanted to show off her new sunglasses... and her new cherry outfit from Grandma Linda!!
