Alicia had a ball dancing her little heart out and running around with all of the old people.

It was an exhausting afternoon for her though, and she fell asleep in her daddy's arms.

When she woke up Alex handed her to me, and she seemed hot...we went home and took her temp and it was about 104! So we stripped her down and gave her tylenol and put cool rags on her. She had a fever for days, and wanted to just be held the whole time, and she wasn't sleeping well. This is a picture of her flushed little face.
Alex's boss was also in town this week, so that was added stress and extra long days for him. Then, we had a lot going on with our house hunt this week. After last weekend we were convinced of what house we wanted, but then in the middle of the week I went out to see a different one that we really liked, and we were torn between the two. We were leaning towards the second one, when we got the call that they had accepted our offer on the initial one. So we spent a sleepless night wondering and praying about what we should do. The thing is that the second one was really pushing the end of our budget and if we tried to buy it and someone gave a better offer, we would lose both houses. We went to go look at both houses so that we could decide and on the way we got a call that the second home had multiple offers and would be bid up, basically shooting it out of our range. This was a good thing though, because it left us with the one that we had wanted initially and we are very excited about our new home. There is a small chance that it is not ours, the bank did accept our offer, but they have to officially sign it off on monday and until that is done, things could still change. So, I'll wait to tell you more about our house until it is more official.
On a side note, this is what happens when you let the daddy dress the baby...
